Yes! Our pieces are crafted with real gold vermeil. This premium material combines precious metals with heavy plating to ensure your jewelry remains beautiful for years to come. Vermeil is superior to standard gold-plated jewelry, making it safe for sensitive skin, water-resistant, rust-free, and durable enough for everyday wear as you chase after little ones. We also offer solid gold options, but only for select products. If a product is available in solid gold, you will see the option to choose it on the product page.
Our necklaces come in two perfect lengths to complement any outfit: an 18" option (16" chain with a 2" extender) for a close-to-heart fit, and a 22" option (20" chain with a 2" extender) for a more dramatic statement piece. Both allow you to adjust for the perfect fit whether you're dressed for a playdate or a night out.
Birth flowers are nature's way of celebrating the month we're born in. Each flower carries its own special meaning and symbolism, creating a beautiful, personal connection to your birth month or that of someone you cherish.
Express your unique story with our Sideway Initial Necklace. Choose from meaningful symbols including the Cross, Heart, Star, Clover Leaf, and Infinity symbol to pair with your initial.
Each birthflower pendant is uniquely sized based on your name, measuring approximately 5-7 cm—the perfect statement piece to celebrate your individuality.
Care Instructions
While our necklaces are water-resistant, we recommend removing them during extended water exposure. A quick shower or hand-washing is fine, but please take off your treasured pieces before swimming, long baths, or washing dishes. And definitely remove them when handling harsh chemicals—your jewelry deserves the same care you give to your loved ones!
Caring for Gold Vermeil
Our gold vermeil pieces offer affordable luxury that can last beautifully with proper care:
- Remove your jewelry before applying lotions, sunscreens, perfume, or when cleaning with harsh chemicals (including bleach)
- Gently clean with warm soap and water, avoiding sterling silver cleansers
- Remove before swimming in chlorinated water, as chlorine can discolor and damage gold vermeil
- All metal naturally tarnishes over time. To restore shine, very gently rub a baking soda paste over the jewelry to remove dark spots and restore the golden glow
Orders & Shipping
Your custom treasure typically takes 2 weeks from order to delivery, including both production and shipping time. This may extend during busy periods like holidays. We'll keep you updated throughout the entire journey from our hands to yours!
We understand that timing is important, and we'd love to clarify our process:
- Processing Time: Orders are sent to our jewelers within 2-3 days.
- Production Time: Custom jewelry takes 8-10 business days to complete.
- Shipping Time: Once completed, orders are shipped, which takes:
- 7-14 business days for standard shipping (depending on location)
- 3-5 business days for express shipping (depending on location and selected shipping option)
Absolutely! Your meaningful jewelry can find its way to you no matter where you call home. We proudly offer international shipping.
Yes! For those special moments that can't wait, we offer upgraded shipping options. If you've already placed an order with regular shipping, just reach out and we'll send an invoice for the expedited option.
The moment your treasured piece leaves our workshop, our system automatically sends you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking link. Click the link to follow your jewelry's journey in real-time. (Be sure to check that you entered your email correctly when placing your order!)
For remake orders, we typically need around 10 business days once approved.
Payment & Pricing
All our prices are displayed in US dollars by default. You can change the currency option on the website after logging in. Always double-check that the display price is in your preferred currency for easy conversion.
We accept Paypal, debit or credit cards, and Afterpay to make your meaningful purchase as convenient as possible.
For deliveries within the United States, no additional tax is required. For international orders, you may be subject to import taxes, sales taxes, and/or customs duties collected once your shipment arrives in your country. Custom Collective cannot predict these charges due to varying customs policies and rates between countries.
A temporary "double charge" often appears when your purchase is pending authorization. Once the order clears with your bank, you'll see you've only been charged once. To avoid currency conversion differences, make sure you select your preferred currency at checkout. Custom Collective never adds hidden charges or service fees—we receive exactly what you paid at checkout.

- Check Your Spam Folder – Sometimes, email providers filter automated messages into spam. While our confirmations aren't spam, it's a good idea to look there just in case.
- Text Notification – If your email isn't found, we typically send confirmation via text message to the phone number provided at checkout.
